IN UNVEILING FIRST NASCAR-INSPIRED PAINTS
8 TONZ™ Paints Endorsed By Dale

Cleveland, Ohio – Sherwin-Williams
Automotive Finishes Corp. (SWAFC) announced a winning industry first
– 8 TONZ™ – a new line of basecoat paints endorsed
by Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI). The paints, an easy-to-apply, fast-drying
basecoat uses unique state of the art technology resulting in superior
performance for a basecoat / clearcoat system.
Launched at this year’s NACE by Teresa Earnhardt, President
and CEO of DEI, in a press conference coordinated by Robert Falls
& Co. Public Relations, the new paint line received extensive
coverage within the automotive collision repair industry.
8 TONZ offers NASCAR-inspired colors available with SWAFC’s
new Special FX technology. Spiral-shaped pigments allow rays of
light to penetrate the surface of the car and kick back an extremely
bright “sparkle” with color shade variances. The colors
in the 8 TONZ line include Dale Jr.’s approved racing colors
from his first-place-finishing #8 car.
