Joe Mosbrook
Vice President
Joe Mosbrook brings more than 15 years of marketing strategy, media relations, crisis communications and news reporting experience.
In his current role, Joe oversees a wide variety of professional service and business-to-business accounts. He has developed and implemented a number of award-winning marketing and branding initiatives for companies that range from private equity groups to Fortune 500 corporations. His responsibilities also include media crisis prevention and consulting, as well as business development for the agency.
Prior to joining Falls Communications, Joe served as senior public relations representative and spokesman for FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE), a Fortune 200 electric utility holding company headquartered in Akron, Ohio. In that role, Joe's responsibilities included crisis and emergency planning for the company's nuclear and electric utilities divisions, media relations, and strategic counsel on various corporate, environmental and nuclear-related issues. He developed a company-wide supervisor communications-training program that focused on improving interpersonal communications and managerial skills.
A former award-winning journalist, Joe worked as business editor and staff writer for the Chronicle-Telegram in Elyria, Ohio, and as political writer and investigative reporter for the Morning Journal in Lorain, Ohio. He has freelanced for various local and national publications, including the Associated Press. His work earned numerous state and national awards from the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.
Joe earned a bachelorís degree in communications and journalism from Cleveland State University, where he served as a teaching assistant in the Communications Department.
